Guide 108 Operations

How to Run a Trial Order

A repeatable process: align on specs, run a controlled trial, document outcomes, then lock the supply parameters for reorders.

Step 1 — Lock the trial conditions

  • Define concentration/dose, temperature, time, and measurement method.
  • Confirm materials compatibility and safety controls.

Step 2 — Place a controlled trial PO

  • Specify packaging, labeling, and documents (SDS/TDS/COA).
  • Request a retention sample from the shipped batch.

Step 3 — Execute the trial

  • Run with a defined baseline and record key metrics.
  • Capture any process impacts (foam, residues, filtration, corrosion signals).

Step 4 — Approve and standardize

  • Document acceptance results and approved grade.
  • Freeze critical parameters and COA limits.
  • Define re-test triggers (supplier changes, COA drift, complaints).
